Spending, Writing, Reading

updatesAnother week down! I have so much that I want and need to get done in the next 2 weeks. I can’t believe our trip to Bulgaria will be here so soon. It feels like we booked the tickets ages ago.

We’re also making another quick trip to the beach next week for a few days, so I’m really going to be scrambling to get stuff done. I won’t be able to work very much while we’re away, and I definitely don’t want to take time away from visiting with our family if I don’t have to.

I’ve got an update coming soon on my $2K in 2 Months Side Hustle Challenge, so look out for that.

I’ve got big plans for this blog, and I’m going to be stepping up my freelance game this fall and winter. I know I just shared how freelance wasn’t fulfilling me in many ways, but I’ve put off some other plans for a while in order to focus on the opportunities that I have right in front of me. All in all, I’m feeling excited for the future and all that it holds!

Writing:

This week, I shared my most-hated fee over on the FeeX blog, and I wrote about Camping with Wild Horses on Travel Blue Book.

Spending Review for the Week:

$538– We paid for our next 6 months of car insurance, and by shopping around we saved over $150.

$25– Happy Hour at a Mexican restaurant with my sister. Fun fact: I love margaritas!

$90– A doctor’s appointment and prescription

$49– Groceries

$9– Rita’s Water Ice for the 3 of us- gotta enjoy it while we can!

I think last week was my very expensive week because I went to my two doctors and had a two different ultrasound and also a lot of medicines! I’m excited for your big plans for this blog!

  2. Hope you have a great weekend! I remember how much work it was to get everything finished before our cruise a year and a half ago, and that was just a 1 week trip. Best of luck crossing everything off your lists!

Thanks for the mention! I hope everything goes well with getting things ready in the next few weeks. I’m excited to see what plans you have in store for the blog and freelancing =).

Can’t wait to hear what you have cooked up for your biz! I love margaritas too!!! I used to think that I hated tequila, until my hubby introduced me to 100% agave tequila 12 years ago, and I have been a convert since. I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
