Weekly Wrap-Up #19- Everyday I’m Hustlin’

It’s been a busy week over here at Hustle Headquarters, aka my desk.  As I shared on Wednesday, I’m challenging myself in a big way to earn as much as I can from side gigs. Thanks to all of you who left encouraging comments on that post 🙂

I’ll be honest, I was hesitant to post it for fear of failing in a big way, but now I feel even more motivated than before. I’m no stranger to unusual money making ideas, so I’m excited to try out different things for the next 2 months and hopefully bring in that much needed extra income. I’ll be reporting back on what I try, how they work out, and of course, how much I’ve earned.

Blog Updates

I had a great week on this blog, with my highest daily pageviews yet. Thanks to everyone who stops by and reads- it truly means so much to me! The pf community is such a supportive one, and it makes blogging that much more enjoyable.

I’m making a new blog-related goal to discover and read 5 new-to-me blogs each week. There are so many good ones out there that I’ve yet to check out. If I’ve never stopped by your site and commented, leave me the link and I’ll be sure to do so.

Recently enjoyed posts by others:

Credit Card Offers- Leave Me Alone!– Loved this post by Bre at The Weight of Debt where she shows all of the cc offers she received in a month.

Only Child Syndrome: Are We Spoiled?– Great post by Connie at Savvy With Saving. I’m not an only child myself, but I likely will have an only, so I appreciated reading Connie’s perspective.

5 Gifts that will Tick Off Your Frugal Wife– A funny post by Shannon over at Young Adult Money.

Lastly, Happy Father’s Day to all of you hard-working Dads out there, and especially to my husband M. We appreciate all that you do!

Have a great week!

The PF community is amazing. I have to agree with you there. Since I started blogging and sharing my investment ideas and portfolio I could not believe how many people were commenting, encouraging and supporting me via the blog. The PF community is very transparent too which I like as you can follow many in real time about their debt repayment, real estate and investment successes.

Congrats on the page view record! Those are always nice days to have. I can definitely relate on the fear of taking something public and wondering how it’s going to turn out. You’re doing great though, so keep hustlin’ 🙂

Thanks for sharing Shannon’s post! It definitely was a funny one. It’s always nice to have that extra motivation to make some side hustle money and I’m sure you will reach your goal. My blog had a bad week traffic-wise (relatively speaking), but sometimes I feel like I have little control over the ups and downs.

I’m looking forward to hearing about how your side hustles work out! Honestly, I don’t think you have to be afraid of failure so much when it comes to the PF community. I’ve seen everyone be really supportive no matter what happens. As long as you’re making the effort, I think that’s what counts.

Indeed! The support of one another in the pf community is amazing. What I like about it too is that knowing there are so many great reads out there, I like the way they are sort of sorted by the recommendations each one gives.

Good luck with your side hustling, Lauren. It will be very interesting to hear your updates. It is tough when you don’t have paid vacation. My hubs is in the same boat.
